Mare Ridden
Performance Test (IBOP)
The aim of the Ridden Mare Performance Test is to provide owners
and breeders with a performance benchmark to assist in the selection
process of utilising the best mares for breeding. On completion
of the test a numerical score will be calculated for each mare.
Certificates will be issued to verify the result by the SSH Studbook
Manager at a later date. Scoring may take account of age and be
biased toward potential.
NB Ster mares that successfully complete a mare performance test
with good results will be eligible for Keur status
on the provision that she produces a 1st or second premium foal.
