2011 Qualifying Shows for Mare & Youngstock ChampionshipsThe Scottish Sports Horse will be having qualifying rounds for Brood Mare, Foal and Youngstock classes at various Shows across Scotland in 2011. These classes are aimed at identifying potential competition horses suitable for any or all the three Olympic disciplines: dressage, show jumping or eventing. Qualification can be passed down the line but no lower than 4th place. The Scottish Sports Horse will also award a special rosette to the highest placed Brood Mare, Foal, Yearling, 2yr and 3 yr old passported with SSH in each class. the Championship Show. Group Presentation: All entrants will enter the ring collectively and proceed at a walk around the ring on the right rein. Once the judge has completed his/her initial assessment entrants will be asked to line up by the ring steward. Then they will be presented to the judge for an individual show. Assessment of Conformation: Entrants should present their horse parallel to the judge as indicated by the ring steward.
